Dockside Logistics is hiring local and short haul drivers!
Local and short haul drivers wanted
- Flexible hours (with occasional weekends)
- Port and Rail Work
- Responsible for delivery of freight and pick-up, as needed
- Maintains electronic logbook and complete trip reports
- Ensure safe and timely loading and unloading products
- Manage Proof of Delivery Paperwork from customers
- Conducts pre and post trip of tractor trailer road worthiness
- Provides quality/ damage inspection of product at loading and unloading stages
- Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required inspections
- Performs cleaning requirements for tractor and performs minor maintenance of equipment as required
- Very Competitive rate
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license
- Minimum 22 years of age
- Safe Driving Record: Including no DUIs in last 7 years; no more than one preventable accident or one violation of motor vehicle laws within the year preceding application
- Physical ability to secures and tarps loads
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to read customer orders, safety regulations, and on-board computer
- Safety is our priority. We comply with DOT and FMCSA.

REQUIREMENTS:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- Not cited for a D.O.T. defined accident in the previous 3 years
- No serious offenses in the previous 7 years or pattern of unsafe practices
